Service agreement
1. Parties
This agreement is between Calm Space Co., represented by Matthew (“Calm Space”, “we”, “us”), and the client named at the end of this document (“you”, “your”).
2. Service scope
Calm Space provides a one-room reset at your address, consisting of:
- A pre-visit consultation (phone, video call or short in-person meeting).
- Up to four hours of hands-on organising in one room or a defined problem area agreed in advance.
- Practical zoning of the space based on your real routines.
- Simple labels where they genuinely help.
- A short written maintenance routine tailored to the household.
- A seven-day follow-up (message or short call) to adjust anything that isn't working.
3. Price
The founding-client rate for a one-room reset is £145, inclusive of the pre-visit consultation and seven-day follow-up. This price is fixed for the visit; additional work agreed on the day is quoted and confirmed in writing before it starts.
4. Exclusions
The following are not included in the one-room reset:
- Storage products, containers or organiser inserts.
- Specialist or bulky waste removal.
- Cleaning of any kind.
- Whole-home projects or moves — these are scoped and quoted separately.
- Repairs, decorating or handyperson work.
5. Client control over belongings
You retain full ownership of, and full decision-making authority over, everything in your home. Calm Space will not throw away, donate, recycle or remove any item without your explicit agreement. “Not sure” is always a valid choice — those items simply stay in the home in an agreed location.
6. Confidentiality
What we see in your home is private. Calm Space does not discuss client homes, situations or contents with anyone outside of the client. Written notes are kept only for the purposes set out in the privacy notice and are stored securely.
7. Photography
Photography is never part of the booking and is not discussed until after the reset is complete. Any use of images or written quotes requires your separate, written consent, and can be withdrawn at any time.
8. Access and safety
You confirm that you are entitled to invite Calm Space into the address given, and that the working environment is reasonably safe (no known biohazards, structural hazards or dangerous animals in the working area). If a room turns out to be unsuitable to work in safely, we may pause the visit and discuss options.
9. Cancellation
Placeholder: please give as much notice as you reasonably can. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a short-notice fee to be agreed at booking. Calm Space reserves the right to reschedule a visit for reasons of illness or safety and will do so with as much notice as possible.
10. Payment
Placeholder: payment is due within 7 days of the visit via bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed in writing. A receipt is provided.
11. Liability and insurance
Calm Space holds public liability insurance. A certificate is available on request.
Public liability insurance will be in place before the first paid booking. Details will be shared on this page and available to clients on request as soon as they are confirmed.
Calm Space will take reasonable care in your home. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by pre-existing conditions in the property or by items that were already in the state we found them.
12. Founding-client feedback
As a founding client, you are asked (but never required) to share honest feedback after the seven-day follow-up. This feedback may be quoted, with your permission and in your own words, on the Calm Space website. You can decline entirely with no impact on your service.
13. Signatures
By signing below, both parties confirm they have read and agree to the terms above.
